Namba · ShinsaibashiDotonbori, the Shinsaibashi shopping arcade and Kuromon Market are all walkable: south Osaka's hub, with Nankai trains direct to Kansai Airport. Umeda · Osaka StationJR Osaka Station, Hankyu, Hanshin and the Midosuji subway line meet here: north Osaka's transport hub, with easy connections to Kyoto, Kobe and Universal Studios Japan. Tennoji · AbenoJR, subway and Kintetsu lines meet at Tennoji Station, the HARUKA runs direct to Kansai Airport, and Tsutenkaku, Shinsekai and Abeno Harukas are nearby. Shin-OsakaA stop on the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen, with the Midosuji subway line running straight to Umeda and Namba; suits itineraries that use the shinkansen. Universal Studios Japan areaThe hotels are right outside JR Universal City Station, so you can walk back after closing; good for two or more days at Universal Studios Japan.

How to get from Kansai Airport to Namba and Umeda?

Staying in Namba or Shinsaibashi: take the Nankai Rapi:t or Nankai limited express with no transfer. Staying in Umeda or Shin-Osaka: take the JR HARUKA or Kansai Airport Rapid. With lots of luggage, take the limousine bus to near your hotel.

Should I buy Universal Studios Japan tickets in advance?

Yes. Universal Studios Japan uses date-specific tickets; peak-season and holiday prices are higher and may sell out, so book once your dates are set.

Is the Osaka Amazing Pass worth it?

Only worth it if you visit three or four included attractions in a day; for just one or two, single tickets cost less.
